Today the leading countries including Russia regard international academic
exchanges and programs as a part of their foreign policy. Each of them is very
active integrating into international education space by solving difficult
organizational problems of educational system reforming and recognition of
national higher education documents.
New realias demand of BelSU to make a reappraisal of its conceptual
priorities in strategic development, namely to enhance the role of all aspects
of international cooperation as a whole and international office as well.
Nowadays the international activity of BelSU is one of the main directions of
activity and its realization is in the following:
- scientific research cooperation;
- international student’s mobility and academic exchanges;
- international cooperation in the sphere of educational service export;
- improvement of the international activity effectiveness.
Special-purpose program «BelSU international cooperation for the period until
2015» is the basis for a long-term and current work planning of international
cooperation and is aimed to solve the following tasks:
- To provide the stable relations with the foreign partners in scientific
research work; to achieve the competitive ability of research activity
results; to facilitate High- Technologies and high-tech products at the
world market.
- To create good conditions of academic mobility for teaching staff,
students and post-graduates of BeSU; to provide the educational process with
qualified personnel that has international experience in quality assurance
estimation.
- To improve the university competitive advantages at the world education
market; to increase the foreign students segment up to 15% of present
student’s number; to provide quality assurance of education in accordance
with international standards and the requirements of world labor market; to
implement the educational programs that are in good request of foreign
students.
- To consolidate the university potential opportunities and resources for
achievement of maximum results in all spheres and aspects of international
activity.
