The boxers of Central Federal District will form a team at Belgorod

Traditional boxing tournament in memory of the “father” of Belgorod boxing coach Valentin Ivanov happens at BelSU Svetlana Khorkina Sports Center for the fifth time

This year 11 regions of Central Federal District take part in the tournament. Belgorod Region is represented by 12 best boxers which will compete to the right of entering the District team.

“For the fifth time the tournament is hosted at one of the best gyms not only in Belgorod Region, but also Russian Federation. This event is significant for our jubilee year”, – said the Principal of BelSU Oleg Polukhin.

The honored guests of the tournament were the participants of summer Olympics – Eugeniy Tischenko and Vladimir Nikitin.

The tournament will continue to 22th of October.
