The Principals of Russian and German Universities have discussed future cooperation

The meeting took place in Kaliningrad at the end of July. While discussing the main directions of cooperation, the principals from two countries decided to develop the summer schools system, to organize international forums and conferences for students and young scientists.

During the meeting The Principals discussed the problems of higher education in two countries: difficulties with correlation of Russian and German academic programs, insufficient information about education at Russian universities, verification of educational documents etc. The full list of such problems would be determined with the results of the poll.

The president of Principals’ Conference Germann Hippler said that only trust will allow both sides to become closer and more understandable for each other. He also said that summer schools for students and young scientists should become the foundation for the future partnership.
