Working trip to Bulgaria

Deputy Director for scientific work and the international activity of BelSU Institute of Law Alevtina Novikova and professor of Administrative and International Law department Elena Safronova have visited the Kirill and Mefodiy Veliko Tarnovo University (Bulgaria).

Arrangements on parity conditions for the academic mobility of pupils in 2017-2018 academic year, and a possibility of protection of theses on PhD degree competition graduate students from BelSU became a result of meetings with the principal of Veliko Tarnovo University Hristo Bondzholov, and the dean of Law department Tsvetan Sivkov.

The special attention has been paid to preparation for the opening of the Russian-Bulgarian Center of cross-border legal research (at BelSU).

Alevtina Novikova and Elena Safronova have also visited the Sofia Saint Clement of Ohrid University. The university became the new international partner of BelSU. As a result of negotiations, which started in October, 2016 the cooperation agreement in educational and scientific spheres was signed.

During the visit to Sofia University, the delegation of BelSU met the dean of Law Department Sasho Penov. Administration of the university expressed readiness to cooperate in academic mobility and realization of educational programs for postgraduates of International Public Law and European Law.
