Sociologists of BelSU made reports in Serbia

Representatives of BelSU Institute of Management Sociology and Youth Activities Subdepartment included the head of the Subdepartment Inna Shapovalova, deputy director of the Institute for the international cooperation Larisa Shmigirilova, professor of the subdepartment Sergey Lebedev head of managing department of tourism and welfare service Tatyana Klimova and the associate professor of social technologies Svetlana Vangorodskaya. They have visited Serbia and took an active part in preparation and holding of scientific actions together with Belgrade Institute of Social sciences.

The international conference "Religion and Church in Spiritual and Socio-political Changes of the Modern World" devoted to the 60 anniversary of foundation of Institute of Social sciences of Belgrade became the culmination of the events. The conference has brought together scientists from Serbia, Russia, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Denmark. M. Blagojevich and S. D. Lebedev's joint plenary report devoted to a sensitive issue of pro-orthodox consensus and counterorthodox moods in the Russian and Serbian societies, I. S. Shapovalova's performances about Russian youth and religious extremism and L. N. Shmigirilova – about modern "technocratic religion" as result of loss of religious belief substantially defined the agenda of all conference.

Besides the main report, S. D. Lebedev has presented conferees the presentation of the electronic expert resource "Sociology of Religion".
