The rector of BelSU Prof. Oleg Polukhin has met the director of Educational advice center "National Electronic and Information Consortium (NEIKON) Olga Kirillova
Discussion was dedicated to the development and promotion of BelSU scientific magazines: series "Nauchniye Vedomosti BELGU" and two online magazines – "Nauchny Rezultat " and "Tractus aevorum". The vice rector for scientific and innovative activity Igor Konstantinov, the vice rector for economy and finance Andrey Izvarin, the deputy vice rector for scientific and innovative activity Andrey Peresypkin, the editor-in-chief of "Nauchny Rezultat", the manager of department of sociology and the organization of work with youth Inna Shapovalova, the director of BelSU Pharmacology live systems Scientific Research Institute Mikhail Pokrovsky and other employees responsible for work on promotion of academic magazines in the international information systems (SCOPUS) participated in discussion.
The rector of BelSU Oleg Polukhin has told Olga Kirillova about how scientific activity of higher education institution and publishing activity of employees has affected the ratings of the university. Having improved the positions on a number of indicators in national rating, this year BelSU has managed to enter one of the leading world rankings –Shanghai Subject ranking, having taken position 76-100 on the Materials science direction. Further progress requires new quality of work.
“We have to, having kept dynamics of growth, concentrate on quality of publications and increase in the authority of our scientific publications”, – Oleg Nikolaevich has noted.
Olga Kirillova has positively assessed the aspiration of the management of higher education institution to support the magazines.
During the meeting the parties have agreed about continuation and expansion of cooperation. In particular, according to Mikhail Pokrovsky's proposal the creation of the training platform for promotion of articles and magazines on the international level will be considered.Photo Gallery
