Major Medical Meeting

The 2019 10^th Annual Medical Education Week conference was held at First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University). The Council on Health and Medical Science organised the event, which is always well-attended. This year the conference welcomed Dmitry Kostennikov, Deputy Minister of Health, Gennadi Onishchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly on Education and Science, Tatyana Semenova, Director of the Department of Medical Education and Personnel Policies in Healthcare of the Ministry of Health, Tatiana Solomatina, a member of the Russian Health Protection Committee, and Dr Petr Glybochko, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Education Institutions, and Rector of the host University. The conference was wide-ranging, and dealt with issues such as accreditation, quality of training, and internships for doctors.
