The Second International Conference on Mathematical Modeling in Applied Sciences (ICMMAS’19) has opened at Belgorod State University

The vice-rector for science of Belgorod State University Igor Konstantinov addressed the participants in the plenary meeting with a welcoming speech on behalf of the rector, Professor Oleg Polukhin.

He wished the conference participants to work fruitfully and, of course, get acquainted with our city and university.

One of the organizers of the conference, Professor of the Department of Differential Equations of Belgorod State University, Vladimir Vasilyev, said that the scientific event brought together more than 170 participants from 29 countries of the world.

“Representatives from Europe, Asia, North America and Australia came to us. The forum will be attended by scientists from Belgorod State University. The conference is dedicated mainly to the application of mathematical methods in various applied fields: physics, biology, medicine and various engineering specialties,” said Vladimir Vasilyev.

The first international conference on mathematical modeling in applied sciences (ICMMAS’17) was held in St. Petersburg in July 2017 at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

After the plenary session, the participants of the scientific forum continued their work in the format of breakout sessions. The II International Conference on Mathematical Modeling in Applied Sciences (ICMMAS’19) will last until August 24.
