Students of BelSU went to the World Championship in professional excellence

The 45th WorldSkills World Championship brought together young professionals from 63 countries in Kazan

Winners and prize-winners of regional and national competitions and olympiads will visit one of the main international events of 2019 in Russia - the 45th WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Championship of Professional Excellence, which began on August 22 and will last for six days.

The regional delegation included 14 schoolchildren and 22 students. A team from the Belgorod Region is accompanied by staff from the Young Professionals Regional Coordination Center (Worldskills Russia).

BelSu was represented by students of the Institute of Economics and Management: Nadezhda Ivanchikova, Zakhar Maslikov and Tatyana Cherpachenko. In June they took part in the university championship of Belgorod State University according to WorldSkills standards and showed high results in the competencies of Entrepreneurship and Organization of Excursion Services. Tatyana Cherpachenko won first place in her competence.

The WorldSkills Championship is attended by over 1,300 competitors from 63 countries who will compete in 56 competencies in various fields: from carpentry to floristry, from hairdressing to electronics, from body repair to baking. In addition to visiting the championship venues, delegation members will get acquainted with the architecture and history of Kazan as part of a sightseeing tour.
