University representatives at the forum PROF-IT.2019

The All-Russian Forum PROF-IT has been held annually since 2013 by the Expert Center of the Electronic State with the support of the Presidential Administration. The main topic of the forum this year was the digital transformation of Russian regions and training for the digital economy.

BelSU was represented at the forum by a delegation of the Institute of Economics and Management: director of the Institute Viktor Zakharov, head of the Department of Applied Economics and Economic Security Elena Stryabkova, associate professors of the Department of Applied Economics and Economic Security Anna Kulik and Yana Bondareva.

The participants visited the section “Data analytics as the basis for decision-making in public administration”, moderated by the Director General of the Digital Economy ANO Evgeny Kovnir, and the section “Personnel for the Digital Economy”, which was led by the Deputy Director General of the ANO “Russia - Country of Opportunities” , rector of the Senezh Management Workshop Alexei Kasprzhak.

According to delegates of the Belgorod State Research University, the presented directions are especially relevant for the prospective digital development of both the Institute of Economics and Management, and the Department of Applied Economics and Economic Security, including the development of the international laboratory of spatial economics.

“For the participants, the forum has become a business platform that has allowed to obtain the maximum number of effective contacts, a lot of new knowledge, to get acquainted with unique developments in the field of regional informatization,” said university representatives.
