Vitaly Gayveronsky and Artyemiy Klenin, of Belgorod State University, have been invited to the Skolkovo Exhibition Centre, to show off their award-winning designs to a government minister
Skolkovo is hosting the 'International Forum of Innovative Development', sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science, in October. The Minister, Mikhail Kotyukov, will inspect the projects, and be briefed by our scientists. The projects selected are the 'Digital UV Communication Module', and the 'Miniature Controlled Neutron Generator Based on Oriented Nanotubes'. This is a great achievement for our university, as this puts us among the elite science universities in the country. Both projects were prize-winners from last year's 'Hi-Tech' international competition held in St Petersburg. They fulfil objectives laid out by the President, to develop native technologies in the Russian Federation, that will reduce our reliance on foreign, and often expensive technology.
