The results of the RSF contest for the best scientific projects of 2020 have been announced
Three Belgorod State University scientists have received support for their scientific projects. Among them are Professor, Doctor of Philosophy Andrei Maidansky ("Cultural-historical psychology in its creators` archives"); Professor, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Andrei Belyakov (“Microstructural mechanisms for increasing the impact and yield strength of high-strength low alloy steels”); Professor, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Fyodor Lisetskiy ("Ecological and rehabilitation land use in areas of intensive soil degradation in European Russia").
The project, led by Professor Andrei Belyakov, is aimed at fundamental research in the field of structural steels physical materials science and analysis of the nanocrystal fibrous structure formation mechanisms during their deformation-heat treatment.
As the “Ecological and rehabilitation land use in areas of intensive soil degradation in European Russia” project head Fyodor Lisetskiy explained, the studies will involve both distinguished Russian university scientists and young scientists of the NRU “BelSU” Federal Regional Center for Aerospace and Ground Monitoring of Objects and Natural Resources and will focus on solving immediate scientific problems of national level.
