BelSU material scientists listed among 2% of the top-cited researchers worldwide according to the Scopus database

The global rating included 707 researchers from Russia what amounts to 0,45% out of 160 thousand of the top-cited researchers in the world according to the Scopus database – that amounts to 2% of the top-cited researchers in the overall number of researchers.

The first rating included 4 material scientists form BelSU – Rustam Kaybishev, Professor of the Division of Material Science and Nanotechnologies, the Head of the Scientific Research Institute of Material Sciences and Innovative Technologies; Andrey Belyakov, the leading research scientist of the Research Institute of Material Sciences and Innovative Technologies; Professor Gennadiy Salishev, the Head of the Laboratory for Bulk Nanostructured Materials; Sergey Mironov, the leading research scientist of the Scientific Research Institute of Material Sciences and Innovative Technologies.

The 2^nd “Stanford List” also included Sergey Zherebtsov, Professor of the Division of Material Science and Nanotechnologies and Nikita Stepanov, the senior scientist researcher of the Laboratory for Bulk Nanostructured Materials.

According to Rustam Kaybishev who is considered to be the top-cited researcher in “Engineering&Technology” subject area we can expect better results in the perspective based on the results of the Scopus Awards Russia prestigious award.
