Prospects for Russian-Arab scientific and educational cooperation on the agenda

First Deputy Governor of Belgorod region Evgeny Miroshnikov welcomed the participants of “Middle East-Moscow-Belgorod” conference which brought together the representatives of 20 higher education institutions from Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. He noted the particular importance of the event for the global educational community.

Belgorod State University was represented by Elena Nazarenko, the tutor of Arab Community, Deputy Head of Preparatory Faculty, Ahmad Mansour, the Head of Arab Community, Allubani Ali Samir Ali, the Head of Jordanian Community, Mahmoud Nada Mohamed, the Head of Egyptian Community.

According to Elena Nazarenko, today over 700 students from Arab countries study at Belgorod State University, all of them are actively involved in education and achieved notable results in studies, sports, creative work and public activities.

During the conference the rectors of Russian and Arab universities discussed joint research and the prospects of scientific and educational cooperation being focused by the universities, as well as preparations for III Forum of Rectors of Russian and Arab Universities Federation.
