Belgorod National Research University included in the "Priority-2030" program

In total, the Priority-2030 program includes 106 Russian universities, 80 of which, are within the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. These institutions will receive the basic part of the grant in the amount of 100 million rubles. In addition, Belgorod National Research University, along with 53 other leading universities of the country, was included in the list of the special part of the grant dedicated to the program of strategic academic leadership "Territorial and (or) industry leadership".

“By 2030, our university intends to come to dominate in at least 5 sciences and enter the top 300 leading international university rankings - ARWU, THE, QS in at least five subject categories. We will ensure the building up of the Belgorod region competitive opportunities in mining and metallurgical complex, agro-industrial complex, medicine, genetics, pharmaceutical industry; and contribute to the improvement of living standards.

All research projects at the NRU "BelSU", will be interdisciplinary with the obligatory participation of students and postgraduates. These projects will be funded on a competitive basis,” the rector of the NRU "BelSU", professor Oleg Polukhin.

The development program establishment of the BelSU until 2030 took place in the Russian Ministry of Education and Science on September 18.

"Priority-2030" is the largest-scale program of state support and development of universities in our history. The program purpose is to form more than 100 modern universities in Russia - centers of scientific, technological, and socio-economic development of the country.
