The editors of BelSU scientific journals upgraded their skills at the advanced training programme on ďQuality Management of Scientific JournalsĒ
The Association of Academic Editors and Publishers (ANRI) together with the State Academic University for the Humanities organized training on ďDeveloping Editorsí Competencies in Publishing Scientific Journals of International Level: Promotion StageĒ.
The professional development courses were attended by the editorial teams of the journals of Scientific Result Association and other universityís journals as well as the universityís Publishing House. The educational programme was dedicated to both promotion of scientific journals and their content in the international scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, and also in scientific social networks. Besides, it included the basics of improving the quality of publications, current global trends, changes in the articles format and review.
Olga Kirillova, the President of ANRI and Scopus expert, pointed out a high level of the corporate culture among BelSU editorial staff, as it was evidenced by the number of the program trainees and the journals development.
The initiative to send the universityís editorial teams to be trained at ANRI was proposed by Oleg Polukhin, the Rector of Belgorod State University, and supported by Andrey Peresypkin, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Programmes.
ANRI is a long-standing BelSU partner which facilitates continuous communication and participation of the university journal editors in publishing and editorial activities. Both institutions plan to hold a large-scale joint event at BelSU in early June 2022.
