It was established in 2002 to work out physical and chemical grounds of technologies and materials for the modern machinery and inhibited technogenetic influence.

Directions of work

  • Studying of morphological and structural peculiarities of natural and synthetic materials to obtain materials, which possess required characteristics: reduced cancerous activity, ability to purify drinking and natural water from radioactive and heavy metals, oil products, pathogenic micro organisms to extricate from the human organism and farm animals, properties, with guarantee obtaining new materials for medicine, veterinary, construction, aerospace industry and other latest machinery.
  • Studying in accordance with the estimation of the danger of the asbestos fibre emission from asbestos-cement material, in accordance with the determination of applicability of non-metallic mineral resources (quartz and other types of sand, clay, porcelain clay, mica, asbestos, chalk, lime-stone, magnesian lime and others.) and manufacturing enterprises waists (burnt soil, acid and alkaline waists, wet and dry waists of asbestos-cement works and so on) in the production silicate glass (glass containers, enamel, glaze), viscous, siding, heat-isolating and other building materials.

List of the new materials developed by the laboratory staff

  1. Tubular nanotubes – (Dexternal = 20…26 nm, dinternal = 3 ÷ 7 nm, l = 10 ÷ 100 nm) and tabular (from 2,2…3,0 nm) crystals of layered silicate.
  2. Absorbent to purify drinking, industrial and natural water from radio active Cs – 137, Sr – 90, as well as ions of lead, copper, chrome and other heavy metals, oil products and pathogenic micro organisms (golden staphylococcus, Shigella of Sonne dysentery and others).
  3. Enterosorbent to extricate from the human organism and farm animals organisms of radio active isotopes and ions of heavy metals, as well as pathogenic microbial flora (golden staphylococcus, Shigella of Sonne dysentery, virus of poliomyelitis of Sabine’s type and others).
  4. Structurally and technologically homogeneous chrysolite-asbestos, which possess considerably less expressed carcinogenic activity in comparison with that manufactured nowadays.
  5. Composition materials fillers for the modern machinery and building constructions: filler of organosilicon molding and press-materials used in electrotechnics; filler of fire protective coverings of aviation and other equipment, as well as building constructions applied in fire hazardous industries; filler of thermoresistant enamel paints; absorbent of thermal neutrons.
  6. New composition materials for the modern machinery and building constructions: thermoresistant high-tension polymer material used in electrotechnics; fire protective coverings of aviation and other equipment, as well as building constructions applied in fire hazardous industries, thermoresistant enamel paints (up to 700 ); protective and decorative coverings of building constructions.
  7. Cement-free acid resistant bonding material and concrete to make floors in livestock houses, production of acid resistant bonding plaster for power installations, operating on gas, liquid and solid fuel, as well as for chemical and metallurgic industries.
  8. Efficient sheet materials, complex figured and granulated insulating materials based on quartz sand: density – 65-500 kg/m3, thermal conductivity 0,04 – 0,12 W/m. 0, temperature of operation is up to 5500 .
  9. Low background nonorganic bonding material and concrete, characterised by radio active background radiation, which is much less in comparison with Portland or alumina cement and concrete on their basis.
