BelSU took part in XXI international conference of Rospatent

BelSU is one of two universities which were allowed to take part in the conference by online stream. Specialists of management of innovations, representatives of institutes and faculties and also students of BelSU Institute of economy have heard the opening reports.

Reports of the panel meeting “Means of individualization as a driver of regional economics development” have been dedicated generally to such objects as names of places of goods’ origin, geographical indications and features of examination of the designations stated for registration as trademarks which include the name of a geographical object.

“As a rule, at conferences of Rospatent we consider a wide range of questions which solution is necessary for increase in competitiveness and stimulation of innovative development of the country and its regions”, - the head of department of intellectual property of management of science and innovations Tatyana Toktaryova said.

The high status of annual international conferences of Rospatent is confirmed by wide geography of participants and level of speakers among which are: leading experts of Rospatent, heads of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly, Ministry of Economic Development of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Minpromtorg of Russia, Euroasian economic commission of the European Patent Office, Japanese patent department, patent agents of the Russian Federation and FICPI Russia.
