The festive airliner gains height

The festival was opened with a festive procession has opened. The students, representatives of the different countries of the world studying at BelSU, in national dresses rose the flags at the stage of the Youth Cultural Center.

The vice rector for cultural and educational activity of BelSU Svetlana Ostrikova has addressed students and guests of a holiday.

“Dear friends, I am very pleased to welcome you on behalf of the rector of the university Oleg Polukhin on such remarkable holiday which has political roots connected with youths’ fight for peace. We celebrate this day as day of friendship, solidarity of progressive youth of the whole world. At our university more than two thousand seven hundred students from eighty four countries of the world, students from all regions of Russia and federal districts study. Therefore, dear friends if there is a peace on Earth, there will be an opportunity to realize your dreams”.

Svetlana Ostrikova has awarded more than sixty students as the best ones with honorary diplomas and letters of thanks. Among them are leaders of student government, public opinion leaders, heads of foreign associations, participants of performance groups and sportsmen.

The concert and festival has come to an end with the anthem of the university.
