BelSU forms interactive environment

Implementation of the Electronic University program has been discussed at a meeting of the academic council of BelSU and the new program for 2018-2022 was approved. Reporting on program execution, the vice rector for study and informatization of BelSU Alexander Mamatov has noted that by December, 2017 a number of important problems of informatization is solved and modern IT infrastructure of the university is created. The program has allowed to provide new level of performance in educational, scientific, educational and social spheres. In structure of the university IT services, educational and scientific divisions – the basic centers of informatization are created. In educational process the new version of electronic training system "Pegasus" providing expanded opportunities of realization of educational process with use of electronic educational technologies is introduced. Megapro software of providing qualitatively new opportunities and services for readers was introduced at BelSU library. There was a new version of electronic open access archive. In the sphere of administrative activity a number of software products and systems resolving IT issues of separate business processes is used.

“Process of electronic educational resources creation in Russia goes fast, and we shouldn't stand aside. The quality of our educational programs is recognized by experts, but they have to be available in a digital format too" – rector Oleg Polukhin said.

For the solution of new tasks, advance and development of informatization of the university the draft of the Electronic University program for 2018-2022 is developed. It has been supported by members of the academic council.
