2018s 'School for Young Researchers' commences at BSNRU

For the third consecutive year, the Student Office of the University has launched a 'School for Young Researchers'

The 'School for Young Researchers' is a project run by the Student Scientific Society, aimed at preparing students for research activities. The school focuses on developing students' personal and professional skills, necessary for studying the basics of scientific research work and carrying out tasks, with the ultimate aim of publishing the results of their research in the University's 'Student Scientific Society Bulletin'

Students will be introduced to the subtleties of scientific activity, over an intensive eight lesson course, by experienced BSNRU lecturers. Participants will take part in lectures on relevant themes including, 'Effective Presentation and Public Speaking', 'Methodology in Scientific Research', and 'Fund-raising for Students'.

The first lecture was conducted by leading Professors Pavel Olkhov, Olga Ivashchuk and Andrei Aleinikov (the Head of the Student Design Bureau), who focused their speeches on the specific problems facing the young researcher, drawing on their own scientific experience as well as feedback from more senior students.

The work of the Studio of Practical Philosophy was presented to students as an example of the successful implementation of a scientific project. The project had been realised by representatives from the Student Scientific Society and teachers from the Faculty of Social Theology.
