Developing Closer Ties with Slovakia

The delegation are from the Institute of Social Sciences and Mass Communications, and they were visiting their counterparts in order to thrash out the details of future academic programs in media studies. Our colleagues made a series of presentations showing off the skills fostered in the Institute. Their counterparts led them on a tour of the University, and their department, before sitting down to discuss the details of the academic agreement. They proposed creating a joint online photojournalism and photo-montage project, and exchanging students and teachers. Our team also had a chance to meet teachers from the Faculty of Social Sciences. They also were invited to run a series of open lectures, and participate in next year's series of conferences.
