Forum "IP Academy": new knowledge in the field of patenting

Representatives of BelSU participated in the conference on intellectual property held in Skolkovo

The conference was attended by the director of the Regional Center for Intellectual Property Dmitry Ushakov, the head of the Intellectual Property Department Tatyana Toktareva and the patent specialist Irina Shevtsova.

Grigory Ivliev, Head of Rospatent, President of the Eurasian Patent Office Saule Tlevlesova, Chairman of the Intellectual Property Court Lyudmila Novoselova, FIPS Director Oleg Neretin, RGAIS Rector Ivan Bliznets and other heads and representatives of intellectual property organizations became the IP Academy’s speakers.

During the conference, numerous discussions, disputes and workshops on relevant areas in the field of intellectual property were held, the best examples and tools of patent search and patent analytics are given, various aspects of patenting inventions in the field of information and communication technologies, recent changes in the practice of filing and consideration of international patent applications under the PCT system, news of the Hague system for the registration of industrial designs and features of filing applications from Russia, the practical issues of patenting IT solutions, discussed the issues of big data and databases as objects of intellectual property, artificial intelligence in the field of intellectual property and many other pressing issues related to the development and promotion of intellectual property products.
