The results of the second NRU “BelSU” grant competition for the development of wide-scale open online courses for basic and additional educational programs have been summed up
The competition was held with the purpose of developing new educational technologies, based on the principles of accessibility, openness, wide-scale character and interactivity, was aimed at improving the quality of education and promoting the university educational programs on the Russian and international levels. In summing up the results, the competition committee took into account the quality and uniqueness of the materials presented, MOOC competitiveness, relevance of the course and demand for it, potential audience reach, originality of the advertising video and video lectures scripts, as well as other evaluation criteria. Eight authors from the NRU “BelSU” were recognized as winners by the decision of the competition commission for the development of wide-scale open online courses for basic and additional educational programs. The developed online courses will be posted on the OpenBelSU open education platform (https://open.bsu.edu.ru/) and will be included in the educational process under the programs of higher and additional education.
