The prospects for BelSU development for a decade defined

The university's perspective to participate in the program of strategic academic leadership "Priority 2030" became the main topic of the current strategic session. During one month work teams were involved in generating the concept of the university's future which resulted in proposals regarding the strategic priorities of the university's development. While opening the plenary session, the Rector of Belgorod State University Oleg Polukhin noted that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education within the framework of the strategic national initiative is preparing to launch Priority-2030 Program and each university should follow in this direction.

Discussion of the concept of the university’s development program-2030 continued with a plenary session bringing together the university’s top management, heads of work teams, moderators, directors of institutes, leading scientists and an invited expert, professor of B.N. Yeltsin Ural Federal University Alexander Sobolev.

The Vice-Rector for Science Nikolai Repnikov spoke about the main results of the research activities and achievements of the university, which make it possible to set new ambitious goals. Speaking about the importance of the goals facing the university, the invited expert Alexander Sobolev noted that the university has the potential and understanding of what needs to be done.
