Innovations in biophysics were discussed at the Chinese-Russian forum

The forum was held in a mixed format in two working languages – Chinese and English. Among the special guests were Shi Yunyu, the Member the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Andrey Prisny, the Director of the Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology of Belgorod State University.

The Chinese participants were represented by the leading scientists and experts in biophysics and biotechnology – experts and professors from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shandong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhongshan University, China Petroleum University, Nankai University and Dezhou University.

The Director of the Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry, and Biology Professor Andrey Prisny spoke as an expert on the Russian side presenting the report on “Physical Methods in Cell Physiology Research”.

Andrey Prisny emphasized that the use of interdisciplinary approaches provides for a fundamentally new level of modern biological research. The scientist expressed his assurance that joint forums and conferences as well as other types of cooperation contribute to comprehensive interaction between researchers of natural sciences and lead to new collaborations.

The forum also integrated a scientific conference on “Biophysics, Artificial Intelligence and Human Health” which was held in Shandong Province.
