Eight projects will be realized in BelSU Botanical garden

BelSU will widen its biodiversity of botanical garden’s plants and create a new academic cluster.

 Government of the Belgorod region considered a development projects of a BelSU Botanical garden during the meeting.

Oleg Polukhin, Rector of a BelSU , told that 3 000 more species and sorts of plants will be add to the present 2,5 thousands. Part of them are already planted. Besides that, the auto sprinkler system and entrance lobby were organized. The complex of ponds is also planned to be created in the Botanical garden. The garden’s total floor space is more than 70 hectare. During the two years, into the development of garden’s infrastructure, buying of new plants and scientific equipment near 3,5 mln. of dollars. will be put up.
