Professor from Lower Normandy speaks about problems of French linguistics

The event was coordinated by The Head of German and French Subdepartment Prof. Arkadiy Sedkyh, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and teachers from the subdepartment. The honored guest was the teacher of Caen National Graduate School of Engineering (Low Normandy) Prof. Stephane Flament, Doctor of Sciences. 

French was the main language of the round table. The participants discussed various aspects of French in ethnic identity with keen interest. In his presentation, Prof. Flament especially has laid a special emphasize at sociolinguistic aspect, which is the most popular at linguistics, and suggested the audience to think about research possibilities in this perspective area.
